When I joined WatchPilot, the website was operating on a basic Shopify theme that needed improvement. Analysing data from GA4 and working with our paid media agency, we identified under performance in key metrics like bounce rate, engagement, conversion rate and basket abandonment rate. The website also did not align with the company’s own brand guidelines or tone of voice.
I led a comprehensive redesign, enhancing the user experience with key brand pages and introducing the ‘Let’s Talk Watches’ blog. The Collection and Product pages were thoroughly redesigned with user-friendly filtering and a new user interface. These changes reduced the bounce rate and boosted both conversions and sales, while significantly enhancing organic search visibility through compelling content on the blog and brand pages.
